FAQs

What is your returns policy?

We appreciate you shopping with Get Waisted.

If you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase, we’re here to help.

Our full policy can be found here.

Do you have a delivery charge?

Yes. In the UK we have a fixed charge of £7.50. Free delivery for online orders over £75.

I can’t get out – do you do ‘in-home’ visits?

This is possible depending on how much travel is involved and subject to time/appointment. Ask for details – we aim to please.

How can I stay in touch with your events, shows and collections?

The Get Waisted website will always have details of upcoming events.

However, do ‘Like’, ‘follow’ etc. On Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest too – they are often the first way we communicate new collections, events or ideas and special offers.

Can I get a favourite item copied or restyled for today?

Absolutely. Many customers have a favourite item which has maybe got ‘tired’, doesn’t fit anymore or which they simply would like another one of but with a few subtle changes – ask for details.

Do you do alterations?

Yes. Please ask for details of pricing – we usually need to see the garment before quoting a price.

How can I pay?

We accept all major bank cards both in the boutique and online. For e-commerce transactions you may also use Pay-Pal. Cash is good too.

What size corset should I get?

In general a corset is worn that is about 4″ (10cm) smaller than your waist size.

However, if you would like advice or are unsure do call us.

Wearing and Sizing a Corset

How long does it take to get something made to measure?

Generally six to eight weeks – but we try to accommodate your needs. Bridal Gowns may take a little longer.

How much does it cost?

Unsurprisingly this varies with the amount of time and effort required to create the garment as well as the fabric used.

However, we think you will be pleasantly surprised.

Can you use my fabric?

Yes. I am happy to source fabric for you or work with what you have.

What is the process for getting a made to measure outfit?

The whole process usually takes about six to eight weeks – but we try to be flexible.
